About Us

We are a friendly and enthusiastic choir of around thirty mixed voices, based at Homewood School in Tenterden. Our ages vary, from young mums to newly retired members as well as several veterans of long standing membership, giving a balanced sound from each voice part. We regularly perform in local churches, all in aid of charity.

Our repertoire includes sacred and secular pieces, including items from musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Godspell and Chicago. We also sing popular classics from the 1960s and 1970s, Negro Spirituals and Folk Songs as well as Early Church music and that of contemporary composers.

Our concerts also feature poetry and other readings, seasonal, topical or humorous. We are often accompanied by Damien Smith and Carla Ovenden, the very talented local duo. Damien's jazz piano expertise and rich voice and Carla 's pure, vibrant vocals are always much appreciated and hugely enjoyed.
